Tom Hassler and The Rats of Droolmoan Cave

Thomas Hassler is an ordinary twelve-year-old kid. Life is boring, as usual. Until one day, when Tom’s life changes forever. An urgent call from a grandmother he has never met leads him to an isolated castle and an incredible inheritance – the leadership of the Sea People.

At Castle Hassler, Tom meets not only his eccentric grandmother but a girl called Maria and, even more surprisingly, giant seals, walruses, orcas, albatrosses and sea eagles. And the creatures have got an urgent request.

After centuries of being imprisoned, the rats of Droolmoan Cave have escaped. It is up to Tom to defeat the rats and their horrible queen. And learn to fly!

There are battles, trickery and courage as Tom and Maria face the hordes of killers, with the help of the boldest grandmother of them all.

Tom Hassler and the Giant Razor-Clawed Granioptrix of Ice Mountain

The Granioptrix are enormous, terrifying and deadly ancient creatures with razor-sharp claws, vicious teeth and a terrible reputation. When they appear again in icy Moratador, commanded by the ghastly thug Ghastmangle, Tom is once again called upon to save the day.

Tom’s reputation is growing, thanks to his extraordinary grandmother, and he sets out on a long and dangerous journey to battle the awful beasts. But who can help before he freezes to death? And what about the dreaded ice bats of Groanlee Pass?

Desperately, she calls the sea creatures together to defend the helpless whales — but will they be in time? And what will Tom be asked to do now, to justify his fancy new title as the Hope of the Sea People?

Tom Hassler and Snake Haven

As Tom Hassler, Hope of the Sea People, races to an oil spill from a wrecked ship to help the terrified, oil-soaked birds, his mind is already on a holiday. Somewhere nice and warm. After all, his grandmother has promised – and he knows he’s earned it. But when he finds himself on a tropical island with his best friend Lydia and an aunt he’s never met, it all seems too good to be true. And it is.

Just offshore is Illiya Island – Snake Haven, home to a secretive snake-worshipping cult. Mysterious giant saltwater crocodiles lurk, and when raiders strike, Tom must draw on every bit of courage and skill to save his friend from the evil snake-worshippers. But has he bitten off more than he can chew? This time, will courage be enough?
